Screen Printing
Screen Printing is our most popular and most requested apparel decorating method. Screen Printing is the preferred method for printing an image on a shirt (or related garment) for many reasons including the ability to print crisp, vivid colors, and most importantly, to create a durable print that lasts. With screen printing, the image/ink is cured to the shirt. We ensure the highest quality ink is used for each shirt style or unique print situation by upgrading to specialty ink for various shirt blends.
Our goal is to create the highest quality print every time.
The Screen Printing process starts with an image or design that the customer bring us or we design in house. That image is then printed onto specialty film. That film is used to burn the image to a screen. The screen becomes a stencil where a squeegee is used to push ink through the screen only through the “stencil” of the image. This is done either manually (manual press) or through an automatic press. We use both a manual and automatic press, depending on each unique print and/or job requirements.
With screen printing, each color requires a screen. As shown below, you can see how each color is printed onto the shirt one at a time. We can print multi color designs up to 8 colors. Once all colors have been printed, the shirt is loaded into the dryer where the ink is cured to the shirt at 300+ degrees resulting in a crisp, vivid, high quality finished product.
Quality in every print.
We use the highest quality plastisol ink for vibrant retail quality prints that are sure to make a lasting impression for your business, event, or organization. See our GALLERY page for more examples.
